The truck driver parked inches from her SUV, boxing her in completely. On one side was the delivery truck, on the other, a porta-potty. She realized too late that she couldn’t open her door.
She had to crawl out the passenger side and started yelling at us. I told her we couldn’t move the truck until the load was secure—it was a safety issue. She wasn’t happy and threatened to report us.
As she tried to drive away in frustration, she clipped the porta-potty and got stuck on the curb. Right then, parking enforcement pulled up. The situation escalated fast.
When the police arrived, they arrested her for reckless driving—especially since her child was in the car. Her son was picked up by his grandma, and we finished the day with no more interruptions. Let’s just say, she won’t be blocking anyone’s delivery zone again.
