I Was Eight Months Pregnant — My Sister Still Used Me as Her Free Wedding Chauffeur

Posted on July 22, 2025 By admin

At eight months pregnant, Gabby expected to attend her sister Tara’s extravagant wedding as a guest — not as unpaid labor. But while helping Tara with last-minute decorations, Gabby learned she was expected to provide “complimentary luxury transportation” for all the guests — courtesy of her husband’s car service. Worse, Tara assumed Gabby herself would drive, dismissing her third-trimester exhaustion as irrelevant since she’d be “sober anyway.”

Gabby was stunned by the entitlement, especially after realizing Tara had already printed programs announcing the free rides. Her husband, Timothy, kept calm and professional — but they knew something had to change. So, on the wedding day, Timothy’s company showed up in style, with spotless vehicles and polite drivers… who billed every guest $50 per ride. When Tara’s guests started complaining, chaos erupted at the reception.

By the end of the night, Tara was furious. “You embarrassed me,” she cried, demanding answers. But Gabby stayed firm — boundaries were overdue. She explained that no one had agreed to sponsor the event, and their business simply operated like any other. Her loyalty had limits now, especially with a baby on the way. And she wasn’t going to let guilt override her self-worth anymore.

Later, eating ice cream with Timothy and feeling the baby kick, Gabby felt at peace. She realized that setting boundaries might upset others, but it gave her space to breathe — and protect the future she was building. Her sister could keep the drama. Gabby had more important roles to step into: Mom and protector.
