On her very first day as a P.E. teacher, Ms. Clark was eager to make a good impression. I’m the goalie… they just haven’t let the ball come this way yet.” His calm explanation made Ms. Clark pause—and then burst out laughing at her own misunderstanding. Far from being left out, the boy was fully part of the game, simply doing his job with quiet focus.
